The Chris & Pop-Pop Show: Live from Liberty Travel: PED Issue, McNabb’s Retirement

This week on The Chris & Pop-Pop Show, the duo recorded LIVE from Liberty Travel in
N.J., in front of a packed crowd. The boys touched on everything relevant in
Philadelphia and national sports.

The Eagles lost a major playmaker in the new offense with Jeremy Maclin going down for
the entire season, thanks to a torn ACL. How does this affect Chip Kelly’s offensive plans?
Does it at all?

The Phillies are in all sorts of trouble heading into the July 31 trade deadline. Jonathan
Papelbon ran his mouth against the organization from top to bottom. Is he, Chase Utley,
or Cliff Lee on their way out of town? Chris and Pop-Pop have the latest low-down on the
whole Phillies debacle.

Donovan McNabb retired as an Eagle Monday morning, and Chris isn’t buying the love
affair from McNabb. The greatest QB in Eagles history didn’t mince words in an upcoming
interview inside the September Philadelphia Magazine, and Chris makes sure everyone
hears the quotes early.

Next, the guys argue about the constant PED issue MLB keeps facing. Chris gives his view
why MLB should just allow them since they created the monster years ago. Pop-Pop
fiercely disagrees with Chris; tune in to hear why.

Lastly, the show capped with a live Q&A from the fans who packed Liberty Travel. All sports
were involved in an action-packed final part of the program.
