The Chris & Pop-Pop Show: Live from Throwbacks: Phillies’ Success with Sandberg, Eagles’ Third Game

This week, The Chris & Pop-Pop Show recorded LIVE from Throwbacks Bar & Grill in Delran, N.J., in front of another gathering of fans and locals.

They kicked off the show discussing the Phillies’ recent success since new manager Ryne Sandberg took over the team after Charlie Manuel was fired. How did Roy Halladay perform in his first start in just under three months? Are the Phillies showing signs of promise for 2014?

Next, Chris and Pop-Pop analyze and break down the Eagles’ third preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. How was Michael Vick’s performance after playing for a full half? Are we more confident with the offensive and defensive game plan? With Nick Foles’ great performance in the preseason, is he now trade bait? Should he be dealt?

The second edition of the ‘Ask Pop-Pop’ segment was next, and spurred some debate with the live crowd. Chris answers the fans’ questions to close out the live show.
