Medical Militia Radio: Hospitalized with an Alternative Diet, How to Balance Sole Caregiving and a Full Time Job

On Medical Militia Radio‘s S2E2, host iLLuZionz O’Grandeur assembles the Medical Militia team at the WWBC 1510-AM studios in Cocoa, Fla., which will be the show’s official recording studio before it goes live on Olio.fm every Friday! The team is located all throughout the U.S., so many thanks to station owner Ray Cassis for making the recording-magic happen!

The Medical Militia kicks it off with a roundtable discussion titled Utter Insanity and discusses the reporter for Anchorage CBS-affiliate KTVA quitting on live television Sunday night, using the f-word to announce that she will work to legalize marijuana as the owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club. Next, iLLz sits down with Mac Milli for the Sports Guru segment and chats about the NFL Week 4 predictions and the importance of being diligent about your health, from an athlete’s perspective.

Medical Militia Radio brand manager Tamara Varella of Manifest Business Consultants dives into Big Business to talk about how to effectively balance being a sole caregiver with a full time job or as a small business owner, and more. Gentlemen’s Club co-host Major Hickz discusses how important it is to regularly go to the doctor, not just when you’re older and when the problems start to set in. In iLLz’s You Are What You Eat segment, she discusses the woes of an alternative diet when you are hospitalized (diabetic, cardiac, vegetarian, pescatarian, etc.).

The final leg of the Medical Militia Radio is art-influenced; Pepper Massey of The Rhythm Railroad (Escape from iLLz) has special guest Zig Zag on the show to discuss his music and his battle with sickle-cell disease. Finally, iLLz closes with the Soundtrack to Your Life with inspiration from The Boxmasters.
